Natural Puppy Shampoo
I recently made this shampoo for our brand new puppy, Lulu and she loves it! It's all natural, organic, safe and most of all effective. It's only ingredients are a gentle Castile soap, essential oils and water.
- 100 ml Unscented Liquid Castille Soap
- 2 drops doTERRA Lavender Essential Oil
- 2 drops doTERRA Cedarwood Essential Oil
- 2 drops doTERRA Geranium Essential Oil
- 150 ml Water
-
Combine Castile soap and essential oils in a 250 ml amber bottle (PET or Glass. I re-use one of our old shampoo bottles) Shake until combined, then top with water and combine.
-
Then use about a 50 cent size squirt in the palm of your hand, lather up and wash your puppy! Repeat if needed, use more for bigger dogs.
This is geared towards my brand new puppy who is, when I'm writing this, 9 weeks old. So it's on the gentler side, I always act with caution for babies and pets.
If you have an adult dog you could double the amount of essential oils for small to medium size or triple the oils for larger dogs. Always go with your instinct and start low and add more essential oils if you'd like to.

Did you know that this puppy shampoo will also save you a loads of cash, it only cost a couple of dollars to make.
I either re-use old bottles or get new ones from Pack My Product, they're inexpensive and quick delivery, it's also an Australian Company.
Other supplies like the Castile soap I buy in bulk online from Centura Packaging or The Little Green Pantry, which is owned by one of our community members but only services Sydney & Newcastle NSW.
I hope your furbabies love this as much as ours do. If you have any questions you can post them in the comments below or email me via the contact form on the right.
